Terms of Service

The terms governing our relationship — services, payment, cancellations, liability and jurisdiction.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://my-wonder-place.com (the "Site") and the services offered by Wonder Place Co., Ltd. ("Wonder Place", "we", "us") — a licensed Thai company providing nanny services, travel planning and family concierge services in Thailand (the "Services"). By using the Site, submitting an inquiry, or booking a Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.

  • Operator: Wonder Place Co., Ltd.
  • Tax ID / Company No.: 0105567060938
  • Registered office: No.283/39,41, Homeplace Office Building, 8th Floor, Soi Sukhumvit 55 (Thonglor 13), Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

2. Definitions

  • "Customer" — the adult booking the Service on behalf of themselves and their family.
  • "Booking" — a confirmed reservation following Wonder Place's written acceptance of the Customer's signed quote and payment of the deposit.
  • "Nanny" — a childcare professional employed or engaged by Wonder Place to deliver nanny Services.
  • "Travel Itinerary" — the written plan for accommodation, transportation and activities delivered as part of Travel Planning or Concierge Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old with legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to book any Service. By booking, you confirm you have such authority on behalf of all family members included in the Booking.

4. Services we provide

We offer three core Services:

  • Nanny Services — supplying vetted, English-speaking, certified nannies to families on holiday in Thailand. Hourly, daily, overnight and live-in formats. Always under the parent's overall supervision.
  • Travel Planning — research, recommendation and booking support for accommodation, transfers, activities and dining tailored to your family.
  • Full Trip Concierge — combined service handling logistics start-to-finish, including a dedicated point of contact.

Specific scope, deliverables and price for each Booking are set out in the written Quote issued to the Customer. The Quote forms part of these Terms and prevails in case of conflict on commercial terms.

5. Booking process

  1. The Customer submits an inquiry via the Site, WhatsApp or email.
  2. Wonder Place issues a written Quote within 72 working hours specifying scope, dates, deliverables and price.
  3. The Customer accepts the Quote in writing and pays the deposit (50%) to confirm the Booking.
  4. Wonder Place issues a Booking confirmation. The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days before arrival unless otherwise stated in the Quote.
  5. Late-stage Bookings (under 14 days to arrival) require 100% payment upfront.

A Booking is only legally binding once Wonder Place has issued a Booking confirmation and received the deposit.

6. Pricing, payment & taxes

  • All prices in the Quote are in the currency specified (USD, EUR or THB).
  • Prices are inclusive of Thai VAT (7%) where applicable to the Service.
  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (USD/EUR/THB), Wise, and major credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).
  • An official Thai Tax Invoice is issued for every paid Booking.
  • The Customer is responsible for any bank fees on the sending side.

7. Cancellation & refund policy

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to info@wonderplace.co.th. Refunds are calculated based on the time between cancellation notice and the scheduled Service start date:

Notice periodRefund
30+ days before arrivalFull refund, minus a 10% administrative fee
14–29 days before arrival50% refund of total Booking value
Less than 14 daysNo cash refund — but we will reschedule to any date within 12 months at no additional fee
No-show on the dayNo refund

If Wonder Place must cancel due to our own fault (e.g. nanny unavailability without a suitable replacement), the Customer receives a full refund plus a 10% goodwill credit towards a future Booking.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic-related government action, war, terrorism, civil unrest, airport closures, or refusal of entry by Thai immigration. In such cases:

  • We will offer to reschedule at no additional fee, or
  • Issue a refund minus actual non-recoverable costs already paid to third parties (hotels, drivers, etc.) on the Customer's behalf.

We strongly recommend the Customer purchase travel insurance with cancellation cover.

9. Customer obligations

The Customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate, complete information about themselves, the children, and any special needs (medical, dietary, behavioural) so we can deliver a safe Service. Withholding material information may invalidate the Booking and our liability.
  • Treat all Wonder Place staff (especially nannies) with respect and dignity. Verbal, physical or emotional abuse will result in immediate termination of the Service with no refund.
  • Comply with all Thai laws and immigration regulations.
  • Hold valid travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation and trip cancellation.
  • Maintain direct parental supervision and ultimate responsibility for the children at all times. Nannies assist; parents remain the legal guardians.
  • Pay all amounts owed by the stated deadlines.

10. Our obligations

Wonder Place commits to:

  • Delivering the Services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with industry standards in Thailand;
  • Employing only background-checked, certified nannies with valid Thai work authorisation;
  • Maintaining commercial general liability insurance for our business activities;
  • Being reachable 24/7 via WhatsApp during the period of an active Booking;
  • Protecting Customer personal data per our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law:

  • Wonder Place's total aggregate liability to the Customer arising out of or in connection with a Booking is capped at the total price actually paid by the Customer for that specific Booking;
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including lost opportunity, lost vacation enjoyment, or emotional distress) save where prohibited by mandatory Thai law;
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law;
  • The Customer remains the child's legal guardian at all times; the nanny is an assistive caregiver, not a substitute parent.

12. Third-party suppliers

We curate and book third-party suppliers (hotels, drivers, restaurants, tour operators) on the Customer's behalf. Those suppliers operate under their own terms and conditions. We are not the supplier of those services and our liability for their acts, omissions or failures is limited to the diligent selection and reasonable supervision of those suppliers.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, images, logos, photography, videos, design — is owned by Wonder Place or licensed to us, and is protected by Thai and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial sharing of a single page link is welcome.

14. User-submitted content

If you send us a photo, testimonial or review, you grant Wonder Place a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content for marketing purposes (on the Site, social media, brochures) with attribution to your first name only or anonymously, unless you explicitly authorise more. You can revoke this licence at any time by emailing us — we will remove the content within a reasonable timeframe.

15. Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

16. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the bottom reflects the current version. For an existing Booking, the version in force on the day of Booking confirmation continues to apply unless both parties agree in writing to adopt a newer version.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Site or the Services shall be resolved as follows:

  1. Direct negotiation in good faith between the parties for 30 days;
  2. Failing that, mediation before a mutually-acceptable mediator in Bangkok;
  3. Failing that, exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

This jurisdiction clause does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections of their place of habitual residence.

18. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: if any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the specific Quote and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties on the subject matter and supersede prior communications.
  • Notices: legal notices to Wonder Place must be sent to info@wonderplace.co.th with subject line "Legal Notice".

19. Contact

For any question about these Terms before booking, email info@wonderplace.co.th. We're happy to clarify anything in plain language.
